No Modano?
- I don't care if he hasn't played a lot this year, the guy has quite a few points for a third liner on Dallas, and is the best American point-getter ever. Modano is an amazing player and I know they wanted a younger team but they could all benefit from the guy's composure. From C to nothing, that's upsetting... I don't think they liked Dallas this year though, Richards(7 game winners in the Lightning's cup run) didn't make team Canada and he's in the top 5 for points.

Sorry but no way can US win gold
- The team looks solid on paper, lots of speed up front, solid D, but no match for Crosby, Thornton, Iginla!! Gold-Canada. Silver-Sweden. Bronze- USA.

Chris Drury Are you kidding!
- The only thing Chris Drury is good for is a cheer leader on the bench. Your odds of winning a medal greatly increases if he's not on the ice. Team USA best finish - 4th.

Brodeur is ineligible
- I'd love for Martin Brodeur to be the goalie for Team USA, but according to IIHF rules once you start playing for a team internationally, you can't switch to another team even if you change your citizenship.

roster
- i dont know a lot about the rest of the NHL but I am a die hards Blues fan and I think that T.J. Oshie and especially Andy McDonald would be better that David Backes, Backes is much bigger and stronger than them, but Mcdonald is a better goal scorer, and T.J. Oshie can make plays on offense and defense..

NoMass
- I couldn't help noticing that when they anounced the names of the USA roster ... at Fenway Park no less ... that there was not one guy from Massachusetts on the team ... It's got to be the first time that no Mass kid is representing USA in the Olympics. Ouch...Mass Hockey is in a nose dive.

NO MORE PROS!
- I would go with the USA world JR team. Why? No more PROS, the Olympics should still be for the up and coming. I would also bet the USA JR team could beat this Olympic team of "pros". Pros who care so much for the Olympics they give what, a whole month of their time to it...great team building there. LEts let the USA Jr team play the NHLers for the right to play and represent the USA. Ill bet the boys win.

PAUL GAUSTAD
- Paul Gaustad should be an automatic pick. He is in the top of the league in Faceoff wins. He lives in front of the net and he is a consistant plus player.

Devils
- Langenbrunner and Parise have regularly played on the same line in NJ. It seems to make sense that they would be together (5-on-5 only, not PP). And the main article says Parise may be captain but I don't know; Langenbrunner is currently the Devs captain and Parise is an 'A'. Also, Martin Brodeur should be our goalie being that he became an American citizen last month.

Dubi
- Dubinsky should be on the roster. He has great individual ability and can change the game with his speed and creativity.

definetly paul stastny
- I totally agree on Craig Anderson being a goaltender but i also think Paul Stastny should be in it and am excited he is. you can probably tell which team i root for in the NHL, lol. Glad to see such a strong looking team for team USA. Go teams!
