    Will Team Canada lose players if the NHL lockout comes to a quick resolution?
  • Media reports suggest forwards Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (Oilers), Jonathan Huberdeau (Panthers), Mark Scheifele (Jets), Ryan Strome (Islanders), and defenseman Dougie Hamilton (Bruins) could be recalled if NHL training camps open before January 5.
  • Team Canada has reportedly been assured that defenseman Scott Harrington (Penguins) and forward Boone Jenner (Blue Jackets) will be available for the entire tournament.
  • Rosters must be finalized by Christmas Day. No substitutions are allowed after that, except in the event that a goaltender is injured.
  • Team Canada management has said it will recall players released in the last round of cuts if any roster players are lost to NHL training camps before December 25.
