Major Junior Hockey

Definition: The top level of junior hockey in Canada, represented by three leagues: the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League; the Ontario Hockey League; the Western Hockey League. These three leagues are the primary source of NHL players. The QMJHL, OHL and WHL are linked through an umbrella group called the Canadian Hockey League. Every year, the three league champions compete for the Memorial Cup.
