Men’s Frozen Four, Columbus, Ohio

National Championship Game - April 9:

  • Denver 4 - North Dakota 1

    Semifinals - April 7:

  • Denver 6 - Colorado College 2
A much closer game than the score indicates. Colorado College outshot Denver 43-29, but could not solve goaltender Peter Mannino (41 saves) or the Denver power play (6-for-12). The Pioneers go for their second straight national title in Saturday's championship game.
  • North Dakota 4 - Minnesota 2
The Fighting Sioux led 2-0 after the second period and 4-0 early in the third, before putting down a late Minnesota rally. Erik Fabian and Travis Zajac scored twice each for North Dakota. Goaltender Jordan Parise made 26 saves.
