The Stanley Cup Bunker

Dateline: June 14/02

This year's lineup of Stanley Cup playoff all stars obviously includes plenty of Red Wings and Hurricanes, while the list of underachievers could start with entire rosters from a few teams, like Boston, New Jersey and Philadelphia. (The Flyers deserve special recognition. With the NHL's fifth highest payroll they turned in one of the worst playoff performances ever, scoring two goals in five games.)

To move these lists beyond the obvious, eligibility is restricted to players who appeared in at least two playoff rounds.
