Stanley Cup Digest: Toronto Squashes Ottawa Again

Goaltenders tend to get too much blame when a team loses a big playoff game. But there is no denying Patrick Lalime's culpability in the Ottawa Senators' demise on Monday. Lalime gave up three goals in the first period - two of them rather embarrassing - as the Maple Leafs coasted to a comfortable 4-1 win in what was supposed to be a classic game seven. It's the fourth time in the last five years that Toronto has ended Ottawa's season. The Leafs return to the fray in Philadelphia on Thursday.
