No, it's not a dream.
It's the end of the hockey fan's nightmare.
The 2012-13 NHL lockout is history.
Working into the wee hours of the morning, the NHL and its Players' Association scratched and clawed their way to a tentative collective bargaining agreement on Sunday.
But for fans, the most important detail is that the NHL avoids what would have been a disastrous cancellation of the season.
Most reports identify January 19 as the likely start date for the 2012-13 NHL campaign, with a 48 or 50-game schedule.
