Having failed miserably to agree on much of anything lately, the NHL and the Players' Association are going to court.
Or maybe they're just going through the courtroom motions.
There's been no collective bargaining since last Thursday.
But a flurry of claims, counterclaims, filings, and complaints is keeping lawyers busy on both sides.
If you followed the NFL or NBA lockouts, hearing talk of "decertification" or "disclaimer of interest" or "unfair labor practice" probably gives you hives.
Both those disputes went down that path before finally being resolved.
The NHL is following, with no resolution in sight.
We'll try to decipher the legal blather.

Well folks, now that the lawyers are involved, there will be no NHL hockey this year. Wait till next season.
Stupid NHL.
I try not to think about this mess because each time I do I get more and more angry and my doctor says its not good for my blood pressure.
