Capitals fans in 2008

After a week of pouting, finger-pointing, and name-calling, the brokers of the NHL lockout are back in the boardroom.

The NHL and NHL Players' Association met Monday for the first time in eight days, and will meet again Wednesday.

This time, it's reportedly the players' turn to make a proposal.

If you have the stomach for more blather about revenue percentages, make whole, contract rights and the rest of it, here are the latest talking points, as best we can figure.

If not, check back in a few days to see if we're any closer to an NHL season.
