The Must-See Hockey Movies

Most Toronto Maple Leafs fans agree that the team is a joke. But it takes a true hockey guy to work the Leafs into a mainstream Hollywood comedy, as Mike Myers (left) has done.

And only a true fan would cast Justin Timberlake as a goalie with an over-the-top French accent.

So Mike's heart and production budget are in the right place. But the flick in question, The Love Guru, is an unqualified stinker, according to your About.com Guide to Hollywood Movies. The critical community at large concurs.

The Love Guru won't be making our list of Great Hockey Movies. For a bad case of off-season puck withdrawal, there is no better cure than an evening with Slap Shot or The Rocket, or any of the nine films on this list.
