World Hockey Championship Comes Down to Canada and the Czechs
After a long and somewhat lacklustre tournament, the World Hockey Championship finally gave fans something to get excited about in the last few days. Every quarterfibal and semifinal games was decided by one goal, with three games going to overtime and two going down to a shootout.
Canada took a 4-0 lead in Saturday's first semifinal, but barely held off a charging Russian team to secure a 4-3 win. In the second game, Radek Dvorak scored in overtime to give the Czech Republic a 3-2 win over Sweden. The bronze medal and gold medal games will be played Sunday.
