A New Era for USA Hockey

The United States has named its team for the 2005 World Hockey Championship, which begins April 30 in Austria. Mike Modano and Doug Weight are back. But the roster is more notable for the names that are missing. Goodbye to a generation that includes Keith Tkachuk, Brett Hull, Chris Chelios, Brian Leetch, Jeremy Roenick, Craig Conroy, Bill Guerin and Tony Amonte. Only eight members of the 2004 World Cup team will be back.
