"That's what happens in Canada when there's no hockey..."

While the rest of us wring hands and furrow brows over the NHL and its labor mess, Brett Hull can only laugh.

Hull dropped by "Saturday Night Live" last weekend, talking lockout on the show's "Weekend Update" segment:

SNL's Amy Poehler: "Brett, you're Canadian -- what do you think of the new gay marriage law passing in Canada?"

Hull: "Well, that's what happens in Canada when there's no hockey. Guys have more time to hang out, talk about their feelings. Next thing you know, they're in love with each other. I've got nothing against it, but I'd rather be playing hockey."
