Martin St. Louis Caps Off a Career Year

Martin St. Louis concluded a hockey season for the ages on Thursday night by going home with a mittful of trophies. The Tampa Bay Lightning forward and NHL scoring champ was named the NHL's Most Valuable Player by two discriminating juries.

St. Louis won the Hart Trophy in voting by the Professional Hockey Writers' Association. Earlier in the day, he was handed the Lester B. Pearson Award, given to the league's best player as selected by the players.

King Clancy Trophy (Leadership and Humanitarian Contribution): Jarome Iginla, Calgary Flames.

Bill Masterton Trophy (Perseverance, Sportsmanship and Dedication): Bryan Berard, Chicago Blackhawks.

Jennings Trophy (Fewest Goals Against): Martin Brodeur, New Jersey Devils.

Maurice Richard Trophy (Most Goals): Jarome Iginla, Calgary Flames; Ily Kovalchuk, Atlanta Thrashers; Rick Nash, Columbus Blue Jackets.

Art Ross Trophy (NHL Scoring Champion): Martin St. Louis, Tampa Bay Lightning.
