2004 NHL Free Agents

The list is not yet complete. Some restricted free agents will join the mob if they do not receive contract offers from their teams. Others will go on the market if option years on their contracts are not exercised. But for now, here is the complete (we think) list of 2004 unrestricted NHL free agents. With the collective bargaining agreement set to expire and the NHL facing an unpredictable financial future, teams are cutting back on their commitments, creating the biggest free agent crop ever.
