Goalies on the Rebound; Flyers Running Out of Defense

Evgeni Nabokov and Nikolai Khabibulin spent a lot of time looking over their shoulders in game two. Both goaltenders recovered nicely on Thursday. Nabokov made 34 saves as the San Jose Sharks defeated Calgary 3-0. Khabibulin held an early lead to help the Tampa Bay Lightning beat Philadelphia 4-1. The Flames and Lightning hold 2-1 leads in their best-of-seven series.
Flyers' defenseman Marcus Ragnarsson left game three with a broken finger, and is out for the rest of the playoffs.
