They could feel it coming at the Air Canada Centre on Tuesday night. Their beloved Maple Leafs, down and out in the third period, roared to life to tie the game and force overtime. Surely the hometown heroes would prevail, and this night would go down as an historic turning point on the road to the Stanley Cup. Such dreams were snuffed in overtime, by a perfect top-shelf wrist shot from Jeremy Roenick. The Flyers move on; Toronto's Stanley Cup drought reaches 37 years.The end of an era in Colorado? The San Jose Sharks finish off the Avalanche with a 3-1 victory , leading to much speculation on the future of a disappointing Colorado team.
