The Longest Suspensions In NHL History

Todd Bertuzzi becomes the second NHL player suspended for the rest of the season, including the playoffs. Marty McSorley of the Boston Bruins received a similar suspension in March of 2000. But the differences are considerable: McSorley was an aging fringe player on a team destined to miss the playoffs; Bertuzzi is an all-star on a team with Stanley Cup aspirations.
