Leetch, Nedved Join the Exodus From New York

Glen Sather isn't wasting any time. Less than 24 hours after shipping Alexei Kovalev to the Montreal Canadiens, the New York general manager has traded one of the all-time great Rangers. Brian Leetch is now a Toronto Maple Leaf, with the Rangers getting a package of prospects and draft picks in return. Earlier today, center Petr Nedved and backup goaltender Jussi Markkanen were traded to Edmonton, again for young players and draft picks.
