But the Canadiens came away with a 4-3 win on the strength of two goals each from Richard Zednik and Yanic Perrault, and strong goaltending from the toque-bearing Jose Theodore. In the sixth game of a six-game road trip, the Toronto Maple Leafs finally get a win. A quick start and two goals from Gary Roberts pace the Leafs to a 5-3 victory in Vancouver.
The Canucks' loss means the Philadelphia Flyers are the last team to remain undefeated at home. The Flyers squander a 2-0 lead against Boston, but recover the defeat the Bruins 3-2.
The San Jose Sharks are the last NHL team to win a game at home, beating Nashville 3-1.
