More Bad Omens In Manhattan

The New York Rangers likely can't wait to get the new NHL season underway, because the off-season is killing them. First Pavel Bure announces that his knees are shot. Then Mike Richter retires. Now Brian Leetch is out indefinitely after taking a shot off the ankle during a scrimmage. It's the same sore ankle that kept him out of 31 games last season. Leetch has worn a protective pad around the ankle since then. But he reportedly did not wear it yesterday, because, you know, it was just a casual skate.
