New Look For An Old Dog

The Phoenix Coyotes are getting a makeover. Gone are the one-eyed, cubist coyote and faux-Navajo jersey. As the Arizona Republic reports, Phoenix is going with a classic, no-frills hockey sweater, your basic desert dog on basic red-and-white. According to TSN.ca, early reviews from the players are positive. "It's more of a coyote," says right winger and noted cultural critic Shane Doan. "It's not a fake drawing of one. It's a real coyote."
