Can He Exorcise the Ghosts of 1967?

The self-appointed Center of the Hockey Universe has its latest savior. John Ferguson Jr. is the new general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ferguson was most recently vice-president and director of hockey operations for the St. Louis Blues, a team that has declined into spendthrift mediocrity over the last few years. Eric Duhatschek of the Toronto Globe and Mail says the new man in the big city has his work cut out for him.
