Rangers' Center Found Dead In Turkey

A former star of the Russian junior team has died in Turkey. Roman Lyashenko is dead at the age of 24. Lyashenko captained Russia to the World Junior Hockey Championship in 1999, before playing for the Dallas Stars and New York Rangers. He spent most of last season with the Hartford of the American Hockey League. Reuters News explains that his death is one of several tragedies to hit Russian hockey this year.
