For the last few years, they have spent like drunken sailors. Now the hangover is kicking in. According to Al Strachan of the Toronto Sun, most NHL teams are desperate to get rid of star players with big contracts. "You can have just about anybody you want," says Flyers' GM Bobby Clarke. But there are few takers. After all, would you like to pay Jaromir Jagr $11 million for the next five years? There are cheaper ways to lose.
