Gooning it up in a local inline hockey league does not match the thrill of lifting the Stanley Cup. So Dominik Hasek is reportedly abandoning retirement for another turn on the NHL merry-go-round. The Toronto Globe and Mail says his return to the Detroit Red Wings will be announced as a soon as the team sorts out a few messy details. One of those details involves the Red Wings' incumbent goaltender, Curtis Joseph, he of the $8-million contract and no-trade clause. The Detroit Free Press suggests that the crowded crease leaves the team in a rather delicate situation.
